Superintendent or Project Manager
As a Carpenter, you will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget.
Constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod-busting and concrete finishing.
Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints.
Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.
Qualifications
2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting
Ability to read and interpret instructions.
Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.
Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
Limited working surfaces.
Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
