Project Engineer Intern Operations Texas | Colorado | Arizona - On-site Project Manager Seasonal The Project Engineer Intern supports project teams in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects across various industries and technical disciplines. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world construction operations, providing opportunities to learn how projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Interns may be assigned to different end markets, services, and geographic locations based on business needs and individual interests. Assist Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents with day-to-day project activities Support document control efforts, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specifications Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting Participate in quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and budget support activities Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers Attend project meetings, site walks, and safety briefings Help maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements Support quality control and safety initiatives on the jobsite Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful project delivery Strong interest in construction and project delivery Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with construction software is a plus Willingness to travel or relocate temporarily based on project needs Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Familiarity with construction software Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive, multi-site organizations Ability to work in both office and active construction site environments Must be able to comply with all safety requirements and policies Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed Potential visits to outdoor industrial sites with exposure to weather extremes. Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
