Description
Schnabel is seeking a Project Engineer to assist with the successful execution of geostructural construction projects. Working closely with project managers, foremen, estimators, and clients, to support all phases of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through closeout. This is a hands-on role that combines technical engineering knowledge with field coordination and project management responsibilities. Develop project plans, define scope, set timelines, and allocate resources. Manage project costs, track expenses, and ensure adherence to the budget. Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to plan and execute projects effectively. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure smooth daily operations. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts. Assist with technical problem-solving in the field; provide engineering support throughout a projects lifecycle. Help enforce safety protocols and conduct site safety audits in coordination with the safety department. Help maintain positive relationships by addressing concerns and providing updates. 1 – 2 years of experience in a Construction Management or Engineering role or successful completion of an internship with construction firm supported by references. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field is required. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings. Vehicle Allowance
