Description
In this role, you will work hands-on with rotating equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, and compressors, performing disassembly and reassembly activities to repair or replace components including bearings, seals, gears, and structural parts You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical systems, including compressors, pumps, blowers, valves, and other rotating equipment, helping ensure safe and reliable plant operations The role includes installing, repairing, and maintaining high-pressure piping systems, including both threaded and welded piping applications You will perform both preventive and reactive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support operational performance A key part of the role is identifying opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies within the plant Using the computerized maintenance management system (EAM), you will plan and execute maintenance activities, coordinate parts procurement, complete scheduled work, and ensure all required documentation is accurately maintained You will work closely with engineering and operations teams, serving as a liaison to help ensure maintenance activities and plant projects are completed safely and on schedule Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documenting completed work in repair logs and maintenance systems will be an important part of the role Success in this position comes from strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving equipment performance and plant reliability
