Field Service Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day No two days are exactly alike as a Field Service Engineer. Whether you're preparing for a major outage, supporting a customer site, or leading field execution activities, you'll serve as a key technical resource responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll collaborate with project managers, technicians, engineers, and customers to coordinate outage activities, resolve technical challenges, and keep projects on schedule. During outages, you'll provide field leadership and oversight, helping teams navigate complex situations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence. Between outages, you'll partner with engineering and technical support teams to improve processes, refine work instructions, enhance tooling, and capture lessons learned that strengthen future field executions. This role offers a unique balance of hands-on field experience, customer engagement, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. What you Bring 8+ years of service BS in related discipline or equivalent experience Detailed knowledge and understanding of TS capabilities and product offerings Strong communication skills Must be efficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigation 75% travel Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. How You’ll Make an Impact Supervise the technicians in the execution of the TS/PAS work scope as it relates to Safety, Quality, and Schedule Participate in Pre and Post outage meetings, Rapid Risk Assessments, and After Action Reviews Supports TS tooling improvements/development Support TS back office PE’s with preplanning, FP/FIP/FRP review and rewrites during the off peak season Your opportunities for personal growth (Please see attachment for any guidance, we can also discuss on our intake call, if needed) This is challenging role which has the responsibility of indirectly managing internal and external resources to support outage demands You will be responsible for outage execution within the organization working under the site PM or potentially directly with the customer About the Team Gas Services Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
