Description

Keep premises of buildings in clean and orderly condition. Must be able to lift, load and unload materials weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Responsible for sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and spray buffing. Clean restroom fixtures, showers, windows, walls, light fixtures, furniture, carpet, water fountains, microwaves, refrigerators, trash cans, brass, telephones, ashtrays, doors, door frames, and door glass. Empty trashcans and recyclable items and transport outside and place in collection receptacles. Replace light bulbs and place used tubes in disposal containers. Pick up supplies from designated areas and replenish supply closets. Maintain supply closet in a clean and orderly fashion. May be trained to clean up body fluids such as blood. Safety and efficiently operate pick-up or car type vehicle if required by specific job assignment. Must be able to comply with all safety regulations and procedures applicable to a chemical plant environment. Regular reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts and/or overtime as needed. Employee must be able to read and write to follow work schedules and read and understand written instructions on the various cleaning agents and various containers. Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions. May be required to meet Company guideline for issuance of Company driver’s license based on requirements of the job to which specifically assigned.
