Civil Multicraft

The Multicraft employee is responsible for performing a variety of industrial construction tasks, with a primary focus on concrete work, formwork, reinforcement, and general construction support. This position requires journeyman-level knowledge of concrete construction methods, the ability to identify and safely use the appropriate tools and materials, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Identify and select the appropriate tools, materials, and equipment required to complete assigned tasks.
• Identify potential safety hazards and implement appropriate precautions to eliminate or minimize risks.
• Assist with tying reinforcing steel (rebar), setting formwork, and installing anchor bolts in accordance with project specifications.
• Assist with preparing, placing, and pouring concrete for industrial structures and foundations.
• Assist with finishing, leveling, and smoothing freshly poured concrete surfaces.
• Assist with the assembly, removal, and dismantling of prefabricated and wooden concrete forms.
• Apply knowledge of concrete materials, mixing methods, placement techniques, and finishing procedures to support quality construction.
• Assist with form construction and other basic building techniques as required.
• Perform miscellaneous industrial construction tasks as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas through proper housekeeping and debris removal.
• Properly use, maintain, and store tools and equipment.
• Work safely and productively with coworkers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project schedules and quality expectations.
• Comply with all company policies, customer requirements, jobsite rules, and applicable safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of four years of industrial construction experience.
• Demonstrated journeyman-level knowledge of concrete material selection, mixing, placement, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Working knowledge of construction materials, tools, and methods used in basic building construction and formwork assembly.
• Ability to perform assigned construction tasks safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
