Interstates is currently seeking a Production Lead to join our Manufacturing Team in Omaha, NE The Production Lead will oversee and support a team of Electrical Assemblers responsible for the assembly, wiring, fabrication, and testing of industrial control panels and electrical systems. This role serves as a hands-on leader on the manufacturing floor, providing direction, coaching, and technical support while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to Interstates’ quality standards. Lead and coordinate the daily work of Electrical Assemblers in the Panel Shop Provide direction, coaching, and hands-on technical support to team members Assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and electrical assemblies from layout through completion Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and technical documentation Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules and quality standards Review work throughout the production process to identify and prevent errors, defects, and rework Help troubleshoot electrical assembly and wiring issues and determine appropriate solutions Assist with onboarding and training new team members and support ongoing skill development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while holding team members accountable to safety expectations Communicate project status, challenges, and completion expectations with Production Supervisors Promote teamwork, accountability, and Interstates’ Core Values Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve safety, quality, and productivity Qualifications: 3+ years of electrical, electrical assembly, panel building, electrical manufacturing, or related experience preferred Previous leadership, lead, mentoring, or training experience preferred Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent attention to detail Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Knowledge of industrial controls, control panels, and low-voltage electrical systems preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally What We Can Offer: WEEKLY Pay Company-Sponsored Holiday & Team Building Celebrations Work/Life Balance Family-Like Culture – A team that cares about you as a whole person, not just what you do for work Advancement Opportunities Training and Career Development Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Company-Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off and Holidays Matching 401(k) Program Pay-for-Performance Bonuses HSA Contributions
