Description
Responsible for maintaining housekeeping in Acetate Fibers Division such as floor care, water control, equipment cleans, trash pickup, removal of waste, with numerous other miscellaneous tasks associated with production areas. Reading and writing proficiently, following directions both oral and written, communicate effectively, and take notice of any and all warning labels and signs. Driver’s license in good standing will be required to obtain stacker license through company, and license must remain in good standing in order to operate a stacker. Must be able to lift, load and unload materials weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Clean all areas of Acetate Fibers Division. Clean various machines and production equipment in Acetate Fibers. Operate small machines or equipment in department. Forklift and scissor-lift training may be required. LO/TO, confined space entry, and other necessary training needed to complete assignments will be provided by the company. Maintain proper paperwork. Must be able to comply with all safety regulations and procedures applicable to a chemical plant environment. Regular and reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts and/or overtime as needed.
