(Manhattan – Hudson Square) at their Occupational Health clinic.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

8a-4:30p

Duration:

11/9-12/12 with possible extension or permanent placement

Pay:

$40-55/hr DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice

Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed

Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)

Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice

Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures

Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records

Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care

Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates’ degree (A.S.) is required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.

Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required

Current hands on training in Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
