Description

A Snapshot of Your Day Inventory tool kits, assemble items to complete tool orders, test, troubleshoot and repair tools, fixtures, and equipment. operationally test tools and perform lead tech duties in operation of the tool crib. How You’ll Make an Impact Follow all safety regulations/policies and wear proper personal protective equipment. Perform basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical repair and refurbishment, and basic electrical inspection of tooling and equipment. Check and replenish inventory of turbine and generator tool kits, drawing items from the tool crib or ordering through the Tooling Engineer as needed. Collect tooling kits and items as listed on tool order and prepare them for shipment. Perform and direct development and qualification of new tooling and applications to improve TGSS performance on existing field service capabilities and to support new field service offerings. Provide directions to warehouse and field technicians performing tool maintenance functions and follow tool orders. Operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, pallet jacks and portable lifting systems. Maintain clean and organized work area. Perform other related duties, including tasks associated with lower labor grade positions, as directed. What You Bring High School Diploma/GED equivalent. Minimum 7 years’ experience in field operations and turbine generator tooling. Intermediate level of computer literacy includes but not limited to Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Capable of using measuring instruments, hand tools and power tools Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
