A Snapshot of Your Day This role is to ensure business continuity within the Onshore Wind Power Operations team. The position is critical for performing defined service delivery, maintenance, and support for customer wind turbine equipment, directly contributing to operational stability and customer satisfaction. To meet these objectives, the role is structured around three core areas: hands-on technical service, including maintenance and repair of wind turbines; responsive customer support and diligent documentation; and strict adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures. This focus ensures that all technical work is performed efficiently, safely, and is well-documented. Given the emphasis on technical field service, the ideal candidate will have a secondary education in Electricity or Electromechanics and at least two years of experience in a similar role. Key competencies include proficiency in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and a strong commitment to environmental, health, and safety standards. How You'll Make an Impact 60% Wind Turbine Maintenance and Repair Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex technical faults on customer equipment to minimize downtime. Execute basic commissioning of wind turbine products and systems, and integrate components according to technical specifications. Conduct quality checks and test repaired systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards. 20% Technical Support and Documentation Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, acting as a key point of contact for resolving equipment issues. Complete detailed and accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and work orders for all site visits. Maintain precise records of parts and tools used for inventory management and service planning. 20% Safety Compliance and Operational Support Adhere strictly to all company and industry Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and site-specific procedures. Support the identification of potential sales leads for service offers during customer interactions. Contribute to team planning activities by providing insights on service operations and equipment performance. What You Bring Secondary education (Vocational Training/FP) in Electricity, Electromechanics, or a related technical field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as a wind technician or field service technician. For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $58,000 to $73,000 annually. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
