At LaborLink, we believe your personal information belongs to you. We built this platform to help Houston's craft workers find better jobs and employers find qualified talent, not to monetize your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.
What We Collect
When you create a profile, we collect the information you provide:
- Contact info: Name, email, phone number, zip code
- Work experience: Craft, years of experience, past employers
- Certifications: Licenses, OSHA cards, NCCER credentials, welding certs
- Job preferences: Dream companies, availability, pay expectations
How We Use It
We use your information to match you with jobs and connect you with employers. Specifically:
- 1.Show you relevant job opportunities based on your craft and experience
- 2.Let employers search for workers with specific certifications
- 3.Notify you when a "dream company" has openings
- 4.Send you text alerts about new opportunities (if you opt in)
What We Don't Do
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your info with advertisers or data brokers
- Give employers access without your profile being visible to them
- Use your information for anything other than connecting you with work
Your Control
You're in the driver's seat. At any time, you can:
- Update your profile information through your dashboard
- Request a copy of all data we have about you
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of text or email notifications
